On the mend.90 Day Fiancéalum Leida Margaretha and her stepdaughter Alari Stark (formerly Tasha Rosenbrook) have come a long way. They didn’t get off to a good start after Leida arrived in America from her native country of Indonesia to marry Alari’s father, Eric Rosenbrook, and the drama between them played out both on and off screen. In fact, their online feud led to Leida filing for and ultimately obtaining a restraining order against Alari. But now, they are working toward building a relationship after the restraining order was dropped, and both Leida and Alari are opening up about their reconciliation in an exclusive interview with In Touch. Scroll through the gallery below for an update on Leida and Alari’s stepmother/stepdaughter relationship.
“The restraining order [was] never meant to be forever,” the 30-year-old exclusively revealed to In Touch. “I did that because I had to. I have nothing against Alari. It breaks my heart to see this family had to [be] this way, and I know that my husband, Eric, is really [caring] and he loves his kids. Then when I heard they’re both sincere and talk each other again, I’m thinking like, ‘[Why] should I continue this family feud?'”

No Hard Feelings
“At the same time, I heard from my husband that Alari has nothing against me either, so I think it [was] best to proceed to dismiss the restraining order,” Leida continued. “Especially [since] Alari and I shared the same hobbies like crafting, cosplay, and art, so it’s so unfortunate if we can’t support each other as a family. We are family, whether you like it or not, we are, somehow related. So, that’s also the reason why I just decided to drop it.”

An Olive Branch
As for Alari, she recalled the moment Leida extended a warm gesture toward her on social media. Since the restraining order did not prohibit Leida from posting about Alari, she reposted a link for fans to vote for her stepdaughter in a cosplay wig contest.

Just a Little Wary
Alari admitted it was hard for her at first to let Leida back into her life, but she’s ultimately glad she decided to create a bond with her stepmother through their shared interested in cosplay.
“The 90 Day drama aside, I’ve been going through a lot and things have been stupid hard for me lately. So allowing anybody new in my life, whether or not I’ve known them in the past, has been a trip,” Alari explained. “A middle school friend recently reached out to me, and though we were great friends then, with my paranoia I’m having a hard time trusting them. Cosplay has helped, but this isn’t anything I’ve planned on stopping, despite the many people trying to get me to. The family support is nice though.”

Coming Together
The first cosplay project Alari and Leida worked on together was for an Astrid costume for Alari’s little sister, Jennica. But since this was before the restraining order was officially dropped, they had to enlist Eric’s help to communicate.
“While both Alari and I were working on the costume separately because we’re not allowed to make contact to each other, I was also at the same time, [in the process of getting] my lawyer to prepare all the paperwork and send it to the court and wait for the judge to sign it,” Leida said. “So at that time while we’re both working on that, my husband Eric was our middle guy, or the messenger of both Alari and I.”

Shared Interests
“We shared the same hobbies, talents, interests, so it’s not hard at all,” Leida said about bonding with Alari. “And yes, shared interest of cosplay helps a lot. Also, Alari has an amazing talent, also she needs more guidance, more support from the family, and more great resources. We just need to keep supporting each other, since we’re family.”

“And yes, I will always help and keep supporting not only Alari but for all the kids, [including] her sisters and my own son, to improve their talents,” she added.

Huge Success
“My first panels went well. I was in drama club and forensics in high school and have always enjoyed giving speeches and presentations, so panel working is no problem for me and I don’t mind doing them with her or any other person,” Alari said.

Aspirations
“I have plans of launching my own panel series starting next year, and though most will be solo, there are a few I’ll be dueting with other cosplayers,” she continued.
