’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Jay Smith Rushes To Ashley Martson’s Side During Hospitalization
Just days after 90 Day Fiancé star Ashley Martson was hospitalized for kidney failure, her estranged husband, Jay Smith, has rushed to be by her side. Though the couple hasn’t officially commented on their split rumors, the 31-year-old has hinted at the rumors on her Instagram page, and it seems that Jay has further confirmed things by becoming a spokesperson for a dating app. However, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t still plenty of love between them. When the 19-year-old found out that his wife was in the hospital, he dropped everything to go support her and be with her.
On Instagram, the tattoo artist shared a photo of Ashley’s hand in his. “I may have hurt you. I may have not been a good husband,” he wrote on Tuesday, Jan. 15. “Jumping on a plane the second I found out you [were] in the hospital was something I didn’t even think twice to do. We have our differences, but as long as I have life, I will never let you sit alone and suffer. I love you, and nothing will ever change that. Thank you for having me here to support you.”
The day before, as Ashley started a GoFundMe to ask fans for help with her medical bills, fans seemed to suspect that Jay had left her all alone. On his Instagram story, he addressed the rumors, writing, “Y’all funny as f–k. So just because I don’t post a picture or something, it means I’m not here in the hospital with Ashley.” In his new Instagram post, he proved the haters wrong — and the date on the phone displayed in the photo shows that he really did make the trip. But this isn’t the first time he’s travelled to be with Ashley while she was sick. Over Christmas, Jay sat with Ashley in the hospital during a lupus flare up. Whether or not they’re together, we can’t help but love the way they take care of each other.
