Last month, 90 Day Fiancéstar Ashley Martson shared with fans that she’s actually been going through some serious health struggles. She revealed that she has lupus, a chronic autoimmune disorder that can leave her feeling weak and looking seriously ill. In a follow up Instagram Q&A with fans, she answered a few more questions about her illness — and revealed that her fiancé, Jay Smith, has actually been there for her every step of the way since he came into her life. Check out what she had to say about Jay (and about her kids!) in the gallery.
When a fan asked how she was feeling lately, she responded, “It’s a daily struggle, but I am just taking it a day at a time. Unfortunately, the hospitals sees me a lot. I’m home now and doing well.”

And when fans asked about Jay’s support, she shared a photo.
“He’s always there for me,” she responded, and shared a photo of a Snapchat her hubby had sent her. “Now you never have to lay in the hospital alone ever again,” Jay had written on the picture of him holding her hand.

She also talked a little bit about how it affects her relationship.
Back when she was visiting Jay in Jamaica, she revealed that she had to cut one trip short after a lupus flare up. “I left immediately!” she admitted. “Worst flight ever.”

But Jay isn’t the only man in her life.
She also talked a little about her kids and why they’re not on the show. “They are not allowed on TV or social media,” she admitted. “It isn’t a place for kids. I won’t allow it. They are on set a lot though!” she captioned a video.

And she gave fans a little bit more info about her little ones.
When a fan asked how old her kids are, she revealed that her daughter is 11 and her son is seven years old.

And, of course, she weighed in on that whole marriage thing.
Fans were shocked when Jay said on the show that he didn’t want to get married unless he had to, but this time Ashley is the one who had his back. “I said the same thing,” she admitted. “We needed more time, but we’re forced to [get married] if we wanted to be together! Most people don’t get married that quickly.” We hope it works out for them, but this is one couple that we’re definitely rooting for.
