It appears a lot of the Teen Mom dads seem to run into legal trouble. Chelsea Houska’s ex, Adam Lind, faced accusations from his ex-fiancée Taylor Halbur that he killed two of her dogs when she requested a judge deny his request for unsupervised parenting time with their daughter, Paislee, back in December 2014, Radar Online reported. That’s a pretty serious allegation, but it sounds like Lind is off the hook. Scroll through our gallery to learn more about the situation.
Lind, 30, has been a fleeting figure on Teen Mom 2. He is the father of Aubree Skye, Houska’s first daughter, and that pregnancy and birth were featured on 16 and Pregnant. Their coparenting has been explored on Teen Mom 2.

Stable?
But he is not a very stable figure in the girl’s life.

New Name
In fact, back in January 2018, Chelsea’s eldest daughter actually took the last name of her current husband, Cole DeBoer, instead. She legally became Aubree Lind-DeBoer.

Love To
DeBoer is basically more of a father figure in Aubree’s life than Lind ever was. He said in November 2018 that he would “love” to adopt her if given the chance.

Not Around
Long story short, Lind is not really in the picture for Houska, 28, and her daughter. And as it turns out, he’s not really around for his daughter with Halbur, either.

Gave Up
Lind gave up his parental rights to Paislee back in September 2018.

Deny
But before doing so, Halbur wanted a South Dakota judge to deny his request for unsupervised parenting time with their daughter in December 2014.

Out of Control
“His life has spun out of control ever since he found fame, or infamy for that matter, on a television series run on MTV called Teen Mom 2,” Halbur wrote in court documents obtained by Radar. “He has come to view himself as a person above the law, above social norms and above all rules.”

Serious
She also claimed her ex is a “dangerous person” and has “serious anger issues.”

Shocking
Shockingly, the filing also alleged, “Upon information and belief, when we were dating and lived together, he killed two of my puppies.”

Claims
“There was also another relationship that he was in, where he may have killed that person’s dog,” Halbur claimed. “If you hurt a dog, you will hurt a child!”

Not Reported
However, the Public Information Officer at the Sioux Falls Police Department confirmed to Radar that the alleged incident was not ever reported.

Not Confirmed
Plus, the Chief Deputy for the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Lind wasn’t investigated for the allegations. In addition, a Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office official could not confirm if Halbur reported Lind for animal abuse but did note that he was never arrested or charged with the crime.

Response
Houska actually addressed Lind giving up his parental rights to his other daughter on the MTV series.

No More
She told DeBoer and one of the show’s producers, “Yesterday I got a phone call from Taylor. She said that her and Adam had court and he gave up rights to their daughter, Paislee.”

Forever
“He can’t see her at all,” she said. “The judge said, ‘You realize this is forever?’ to him and he said, ‘Yeah.’”

Truth?
We may never know what the real story is behind Lind not seeing his daughter with Halbur, or if there’s any truth to her claims about him killing her pets.
