Andrew Glennon Claps Back at Amber’s Claims That He’s Denying Visits With Son: ‘I Want Her to See James’

Legal Battle

Portwood, 29, was awarded supervised visits with James back in July, after the no-contact order for their son was lifted. This development came after Portwood was arrested earlier that month for domestic violence against Glennon.

Taking Action

In the new paperwork she submitted on November 6, the MTV star claims that her ex is not sticking to the rules when it comes to their coparenting arrangement.

He Said vs. She Said

Portwood filed an Information and Verified Motion for Rule to Show Cause as a result, according to Radar Online. She alleges that Glennon has denied her “parenting time” since October 22.

Venting Frustrations

The mother of two brought up a few recent instances where Glennon allegedly was unable to be reached.

Details Revealed

“On October 23, 2019, the undersigned counsel contacted counsel for Father requesting to confirm times for parenting time exchanges and no response was provided,” it states in the court documents.

Holiday Visits

The same was said about October 25, as well as Halloween. It’s claimed that Glennon allegedly “failed to communicate” with Portwood in person or through counsel to allow her to “exercise her holiday parenting time.”

“There is no denying of any visitations,” Glennon tells In Touch, while responding to the allegations. “My attorney has been in touch with her attorney, and papers have been filed that will help to get this process moving.”

The reality star says that he has two candidates who are trustworthy and if she doesn’t like either of them, they will be using a paid service to mediate and transport James during supervised visits.

Staying Connected

At the moment, Portwood and Glennon are supposed to stay in touch with each other through the Our Family Wizard app so they can set up times to exchange their son due to the no-contact order in place for Glennon.

App Ordeal

The reality star mom claims that Glennon never set up or even viewed the account, and she reportedly provided a screenshot as evidence.

Clapping Back

Glennon shared his side of the story about the app while chatting with In Touch exclusively, claiming that when he tried to create an account it said one already existed. 

The father of one says that when he clicked the username/passwork link, there was no confirmation email in his inbox “… almost as if someone created an account for me to which I cannot access or even know the password to.”

Terms in Place

On top of that, Portwood also addressed how both she and her ex are supposed to not speak negatively about each other while James is around, per Indiana Parenting Time Guidelines. 

Shocking Claims

“Upon information and belief, Father recorded Mother Without Mother’s consent or knowledge and released, or allowed family members to release, Video footage of Mother to be broadcast on YouTube,” Portwood alleged, claiming he violated these terms. 

Responding to Allegations

Glennon denied the claims about the recent videos, stating that he has no energy for vindictiveness. “I have been focusing on my health and the well-being of James,” he tells In Touch exclusively.

Filing Paperwork

In her new documents, Portwood has asked that Glennon “be held in contempt of court for his willful violation of the Court’s orders.” 

What She’s Looking for

She is also hoping to schedule more parenting time to make up for the hours missed. Furthermore, Portwood wants Glennon to pay the attorney fees.

Clearing the Air

“To jump straight to being in contempt of court is childish, no one contacted me, her attorney speaks to my attorney, so I’m at a loss as to why this whole ‘mutual’ agreement has fallen on my shoulders,” Glennon tells In Touch. “I feel I’ve been left in the dark.”

Moving Forward

The reality star concluded, “I want her to see James.”

“I saw what keeping Leah did to her, and I swore that would not happen.”
