Brendan McLoughlin ‘Wouldn’t Move Back’ to NYC After Marrying Miranda Lambert: ‘He Loves Tennessee’
Southern gent! Brendan McLoughlin recently moved down south to be with his wife, Miranda Lambert, and is ecstatic about his new living arrangements. “He loves Tennessee and wouldn’t move back to New York because he’s so happy there,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “He loves the Tennessee lifestyle.”
Even though the 27-year-old NYPD officer grew up in New York, he now “only visits to see his family and friends,” the insider continued. “His friends are understanding but joke with him about how he ‘left them’ for her because he doesn’t come home often to see them. He’s clearly torn between his New York friends and his Tennessee lifestyle.” The stud recently made a visit to his hometown to have a boys’ night out while Miranda hit the town solo!
In February, the Texas native shocked her fans when she announced she was no longer single on Instagram. “In honor of Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share some news,” she captioned a photo of herself wearing a wedding gown at the time. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you, Brendan McLoughlin, for loving me for … me. #TheOne.”
However, it seems like Brendan is with the blonde beauty for the right reasons. “It’s clear he loves Miranda and their marriage and is happy with their life,” the insider noted.
A second insider told In Touch that Miranda recently bought a $2 million New York City apartment for them to share, so luckily for Brendan’s crew, he can still see them a decent amount. The “Little Red Wagon” crooner has “totally upgraded Brendan’s life. Being a young NYPD officer, he wasn’t exactly rolling in the money. But it seems like Miranda likes spoiling him and doesn’t mind spending money to make him happy,” the source said.
So, how does Brendan feel about his wifey’s salary? “He’s totally comfortable with the situation,” the insider confessed. “His parents often helped him financially before he got married.”
Well, it seems like these two lovebirds are doing just fine!
