‘Flip or Flop’ Divorce: Christina El Moussa Is Already Having Relationship Troubles With Gary Anderson (EXCLUSIVE)

Despite being a father to two adult children, Gary isn’t interested in spending time with Tay and Bray.

“He doesn’t even like to be around [young] kids,” a friend of the contractor said of Gary.

The same friend said he/she thinks that there may be more of a mentor/mentee relationship between the budding couple than a romantic one.

“I think it’s more of her looking up to him as a father figure,” the friend continued. “Gary is also loaded. So I guess if you’re already used to some like Tarek who has money, you’re going to go after someone who has money.”

Of course, there are outside factors causing problems for them as well; as In Touch previously revealed, HGTV is threatening to sue Tarek and Christina because the network knows they’ll be more profitable as a couple than they will apart.

“This is getting really ugly,” a source with the network told In Touch. “HGTV is livid with Tarek and Christina. Flip or Flop just won’t be the same if they’re not together, so execs desperately want them to reunite to save the show. If they can’t do that, the network wants them to make it seem like they’re getting along, at least until their contract is over. They were given an ultimatum: Either finish out your contracts or we’ll take you to court [for breach of contract].”

If there was one person who is likely pleased with all the drama Gary and Christina are experiencing, it’s Tarek.

While he hasn’t outright addressed the new relationship, he cryptically made his feelings known when he Instagrammed a poster for the movie Why Him? — and we can’t imagine that was a coincidence!

Even with all the problems she may be experiencing with Gary, it’s still likely better than anything Christina went through with her estranged husband.

“Tarek found humor in insulting his wife in repeated verbal attacks,” a source close to the couple told In Touch. “Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera.”
