Abby and Brittany, who are dicephalus conjoined twins — defined by the National Library of Medicine as a rare condition when twins are “fused side-by-side with a shared pelvis” — were also spotted in the driver’s seat of their black Chevy Equinox (their TLC reality show, Abby & Brittany, saw the twins navigate common experiences including learning how to drive and taking their road test).

Running Errands

Last month, it was revealed that Abby and Josh tied the knot in 2021, according to public records viewed by Today.

Despite previously starring on reality TV, Abby has made sure to keep most details of her relationship with Josh out of the spotlight. It’s not clear how they met nor how long they dated before getting married. Additionally, the couple has not explained how Abby’s conjoined twin plays into the dynamic.

A Simple Saturday

While out and about over the weekend, “They were by themselves and didn’t seem to get any attention from shoppers,” an onlooker exclusively tells In Touch. “It’s a small town and people are really chill. It seems like everyone knows them and no one bats an eyelid when they’re out and about.”

The source adds: “They were only inside the store for about 15 minutes and grabbed a drink before sitting in the car and waiting for a pickup order to be brought out by staff.”

Casual Fit

Last week, In Touch exclusively confirmed that Abby’s new husband, Josh, was married and divorced once before.

His ex-wife, Annica Rose Bowling, filed for dissolution of marriage with a child on June 7, 2019, with the reason stated as “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage,” according to court documents obtained by In Touch on Monday, April 1. The documents stated that the former couple shared one child, a daughter. Josh and Annica participated in mediation before reaching a full agreement on custody of their child. In the documents, Annica stated that she was “not capable of self-support” and requested “temporary spousal maintenance payable by” Josh.

Accessorizing

In the new photos, Abby can be seen holding a shopping bag and iced drink in her hand, while Brittany held a phone — and Abby’s wedding ring was on full display! A source tells In Touch that the two drove to a nail salon to get a light blue manicure before stopping at Target.

Heading Out

The public first learned about Abby and Brittany’s lives as conjoined twins when they made headlines for a 1996 interview. They continued to share a glimpse into their lives with the rare condition when Abby & Brittany aired on TLC in 2012. They also opened up in the 2006 documentary Joined for Life: Abby & Brittany Turn 16, in which they shared their hopes for the future.

“We’re going to be moms,” Brittany said at the time. “We haven’t thought about how being moms is going to work yet.”
