On to the next! Ashley Smith (née Martson) seemingly revealed she is quitting 90 Day Fiancé in a lengthy Instagram post on Friday, July 19. The blonde beauty is currently dealing with her ex-husband Jay Smith (full name: Conroy St. Christopher Smith) and his deportation drama. Scroll through the gallery below to find out what Ashley said about her time on the TLC show.
“As the show is approaching the final episode, I wanted to take time to say I appreciate all the support and love from the fans,” she captioned several photos of herself from the series. “I was given an opportunity that many wish for, and I am grateful for that. I was given the chance to let the world take a sneak peek into my life, and even though it didn’t end how anyone wanted or anticipated, it’s not something I regret or would take back!”

Me Time
The 33-year-old continued to explain to her followers that she needs some time to herself after all of the drama she has experienced. “I’m sure next season won’t disappoint, and you will get the opportunity to meet new couples and follow their journey! It’s time to step away from the show and focus on what’s important.”

Thankful
“I have been given so many amazing opportunities from this show, and I will be forever thankful to @tlc and Sharp Productions. The amount of support I have received majorly outweighs the hate, and I appreciate every message that you so kindly took time out of your day to write me. I have felt the true meaning of love and heartbreak and many other lessons while filming this show.”

Back to Reality
At the end of the day, Ashley just wants to live a normal life and not be on camera 24/7. “I realized that there is a lot I need to work with myself,” she said. “I know through all this I have learned some valuable lessons and that I am stronger than I thought I could ever be. I love you guys, and I’m so thankful I was able to experience this with all of you! #90DayFiance #HappilyEverAfter #90DayFianceHappilyEverAfter #TLC #RealityTV #TheShowsOverFolks #Grateful.”

Trouble
Meanwhile, Jay, 21, is in hot water right now since the Upper Allen Police first investigated a report of a PFA violation on July 2 following a social media post Jay uploaded. It’s unclear which post was in violation.

Crime Time
Kayla O’Brien, the friend currently running Jay’s Instagram page, revealed he was “sentenced one day and a $100 fine for the violation over the Instagram post.” She told In Touch exclusively, “The time has already been served since he has been in there two weeks already.”

Going, Going, Gone
“Due to the criminal charges, I am told he will not get to go in front of an immigration judge,” Ashley exclusively told In Touch. So, what will happen next? The mom of two said Jay “will be deported, but immigration takes their sweet time. It could be a few months to over a year.”

Waiting Game
While Ashley said that Jay will be sent back to Jamaica, In Touch has not heard from officials as to whether or not he will be deported. Jay turned himself in to the Upper Allen Police Department in Pennsylvania on July 3. He was taken into ICE custody because he’s not an American citizen.

Helping Out
Kayla started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money from his fans and followers to help free him from “immigration detention.” She also shared how Jay has been coping with the situation. “He said it is hard in lockup because he’s never done anything like this before,” Kayla shared.

Regrets
Ashley and Jay’s time together was not all rainbows and butterflies, to say the least. They weathered two different cheating scandals during their marriage. Just one week into their marriage, Jay used a secret Tinder profile to talk to several women online, but he later seemed to show remorse for what he had done. “It happens, and it is what it is. I cannot go back in time and change the past … I can only create a brighter future and make up for whosoever heart I have broken,” he wrote at the time.

Proof
Then, in April, Ashley took to her Instagram Story to expose Jay for allegedly cheating on her again. “It’s all fun and games until your ass gets deported,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “Have fun at the strip club with MY money, and MY car you’re driving around without a license!”

Sad
At first when Ashley heard the news about Jay’s possible deportation, she seemed sympathetic. “Mark my words — this is the hardest day of my life. I can’t believe this is how it ended,” she wrote on July 2. “The amount of sadness I’m feeling is unfathomable. There is no celebrating over here, just pure heartbreak!”

Karma
But Ashley changed her tune the next day. “Ashley feels as though Jay made his own bed,” her spokesperson Johnny Donovan told Us Weekly. “Ashley has been suffering for a long time — it’s payback. Jay thought she was joking, but no. He made his bed, and now he has to lie in it.” Well, sounds like Ashley will finally get some time to relax.
