Get ready, Bounty Hunter fans! Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman — also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter — and his wife, Beth Chapman, are getting a  new TV series, Us Weekly reported on Jan. 14. The show will be called Dog’s Most Wanted and will feature “The Dirty Dozen” — Dog’s team of professionals — and will air on WGN America.

Dog, 66, told the outlet in a statement, “Crime in America is skyrocketing! Criminals are finding it easier to avoid the system. With more and more dangerous criminals running the streets, the time couldn’t be better for the World’s Greatest Network to bring back the World’s Greatest Bounty Hunter. Fugitives beware!”

The show will be a 10-part series featuring the husband-and-wife duo and their team hunting down the Most Wanted Fugitives on the FBI, U.S. Marshals, and States’ lists, Us Weekly reported. It is WGN’s first unscripted series in over five years, and production is set to begin in early 2019.

This news comes after the recent, devastating updates about Beth’s health. After undergoing emergency throat surgery in 2018, she learned that her cancer is back. Previously, in September 2017, Dog and Beth revealed that Beth was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer, and on their A&E show — Dog and Beth: Fight Of Their Lives — her doctors gave her a 50/50 shot at beating it. It appeared that Beth had recovered, but unfortunately, she’s facing a tough health battle yet again.

Dog exclusively told In Touch on Dec. 12 that his wife is “still trying to get involved in my bounties and business,” and that, “She’s trying to still advise me on my work.” “I’m like, ‘Honey, I was Dog the Bounty Hunter before I met you, stay out of it!’ Dog told In Touch. “And she woke up the other night and told me, ‘You’re so damn stupid if I die you’re going to lose the farm,’ and I said, ‘Beth, we don’t have a farm.'”

WHICH RECENTLY DEPARTED VETERAN DAYS CHARACTER WILL YOU MISS THE MOST?

Clearly, this is one couple who can still bring the humor, even when they’re dealing with something so difficult. Hopefully, we’ll see that humor — and a whole lot of Beth’s fighting spirit — on the new series.
