Farrah Abraham Shares Thoughts on Bristol Palin Quitting ‘Teen Mom OG’

Star-Studded Event

Farrah, 27, wasn’t afraid to share her true thoughts about Bristol quitting TMOG while stopping by New York’s Hemp Garden for the launch of MASK, a CBD beauty mask on April 25.

Spilling the Tea

“My thoughts on that are I am sure it was hard to bounce into a position where someone left after like 10 years and those are big shoes to fill,” the mother-of-one told In Touch exclusively.

Life in the Spotlight

As a former 16 and Pregnant alum, fans have seen several milestone moments in Farrah’s life. Farrah was let go from TMOG back in October 2017, but she revealed there’s no hard feelings anymore.

Olive Branch Extended

“I really believe no one can fill and either you’re born to handle TV or you’re not, so, you know, I am here if MTV ever needs me, I just know we mended our relationships finally and I just want to keep it in a happy place,” Farrah said.

On Her Grind

So what is she up to today? Well, Farrah revealed, “I think when you work and work and work, you kind of get stagnant so that is what I kind of … I like to create other businesses and do other things now.”

Thank You, Next

Farrah also said that she doesn’t miss filming or appearing on the show, noting how she’s focused on pursuing other endeavors. “For every opportunity you close, new ones open up,” she shared.

Staying Focused

As far as if she still stays in contact with her former castmates, Farrah said, “When I left, I left, so I don’t speak to anyone.” She added, “I have tried with some of the other ones — I keep reaching out and reaching out, but they always have hurtful things or make things out or want attention publicly, so I think it was best to just cut ties.”

Tension Brewing

Back in September 2018, Bristol, 28, clapped back after Farrah threw shade at her. This was shortly after Bristol was confirmed as the newest cast member of Teen Mom OG.

Clearing the Air

“It’s just like, ‘Oh, she’s trying to be me.’ It’s like, girlfriend, you could not pay me to want to be anything like you,” Bristol said during an interview. “Honestly. So no, I’m not trying to be like her.”

Sounding Off

Bristol has since expressed her disapproval for the way she’s been portrayed on the show. She later shared a statement on Instagram, revealing that she’s quitting the MTV gig.

Reason for Walking Away

“Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace,” she wrote on April 1. “And honestly – my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford.” 

Bristol continued, “$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain BS, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction.”

Good Vibes Only

Bristol also shut down rumors that she’s feuding with her costars. “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors,” she concluded.

Eyes on the Prize

When it comes to Farrah, the reality star is just as pumped about the new projects she has on the horizon. “I am super excited about my scripted Firework HQ app series, their head of development just came from Warner Brothers, so it’s going to be a really cool reality scripted series,” she told In Touch exclusively at the NYC event.

Booked and Busy

“I will be coming up here next month and then I am just finishing working on my film, which is based off of Teen Mom, so more drama to come in the right dose,” she added.

Looking Ahead

Farrah also gave an update on her dating life, confirming that she’s happily single. She said, “You know, it’s been a year, if the right guy comes into the picture, that is great but I don’t want anymore exes like I had on Ex on the Beach and yeah, I only have time for really great people.”
