The America’s Got Talent judge, 62, revealed the “Wack Pack” member’s passing on his radio show yesterday.
“He was a huge champion of our show,” Howard said. “He was always the first on line at any of the signings.”
Though his distinct speech impediment was originally thought to be caused by cerebral palsy, he later admitted that he had previously smoked crack — which left him partially paralyzed.
Within the past year and a half, the Stern Show also lost fellow “Wack Pack” members Eric the Actor, Johnny Fratto and Riley Martin.
The cause of Mr. Harvey’s death remains unknown at this time.
