We Dare You Not to Smile While Watching Jackson Roloff Say “Dada” for the First Time (On Video!)
They’ve got a talker! Jackson Roloff may only be eight months old, but he’s already saying “dada!” Proud dad Zach Roloff took to Instagram Stories to reveal his latest milestone — and we bet the 27-year-old couldn’t be happier! Watch the video below to hear the Little People, Big World star’s first word!
Earlier this month, Mama Tori gave fans an update on Baby J — and he’s growing up so fast. “And somehow Jackson is [eight] months old,” the 26-year-old wrote in the caption. “This stage is hands down my favorite (so far). He’s so happy and smiley all the time and I fall more in love with him every. Single. Day.”
She continued to reveal details about everything that’s happened in Jackson’s life within the past month, and it all sounds like he had so much fun and hit some very important milestones. Baby J got to celebrate his first-ever Christmas and New Year’s Eve — even though he slept through New Year’s, according to his mom. He can also sit up on his own for as long as 20 seconds, has grown several teeth, and he’s also beginning to crawl. Plus, Baby J loves to sleep and eat — same, J, same.
In a recent episode of their vlog, Z and T Party of Three, Zach opened up about raising a child with achondroplasia, which is the same form of dwarfism he has. “Baby Jackson came in as [a little person] — just like me. Yeah, we’re super excited for it, though. We’ll hope to just give him a healthy, happy life and support him in every way. He can experience as much of the world as Tori and me [sic] have been able to and hopefully much more!”
Previously, Tori revealed that her “Squishy Face” had kind-of-sort-of said “dada” before. “Jackson says ‘dada’ on a regular basis but mom’s not counting it until he figures out what he’s actually saying,” Tori wrote on Instagram. Hmm — we definitely think it counts this time!
Little People, Big World returns this spring.
