He may love his little sister, but Jackson Roloff is still taking some time to adjust to having Lilah Ray Roloff around. On Tuesday, December 17, mom Tori Roloff (née Patton) shared the family’s Christmas pics with her followers — and she got real about what went into grabbing them. Apparently, it wasn’t easy to get her two tots all cuddled up for a photo. Though her toddler may be down to give her baby a kiss every now and then, it’s far from a regular occurrence in the Roloff family’s household.

“‘Tis the season for matching jammies, cozy fires and the smell of Christmas!” Tori, 28, captioned the shots she shared. “Even if it took us like 20 times to get this photo (on a self-timer). My Christmas has already been made by my family. Especially the fact that Jackson touched his sister in this photo (he’s been a little standoffish and only wants to admire her from afar). I hope you and your family remember what’s truly important this Christmas season … family and being present!! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!”

The Little People, Big World star’s fans were equally in awe that she managed to snag such an adorable snap. “OMG, how??? How do you do this!?” one asked. “I tried to take really cute photos of my 3-year-old [and] baby … It was a nightmare.” Another added, “The one with heads cuddling is TROPHY WORTHY!!!!! Absolutely priceless. 😍 Merry Christmas to you and your adorable family!” A third reassured the mom that this phase would pass. “My kiddo was just shy of 3 when her baby sister was born,” they wrote. “She had zero interest in her. Flash forward almost four years, and they are BFFs. He will definitely come around. ❤️”

Luckily, pretty much everyone agreed that the shot was worth whatever work went into it. And Jackson and Lilah definitely have their moments. On December 3, Tori revealed that their relationship was a work in progress. “Jackson is adjusting in his own time, and this has made me find new love for our sweet baby J,” she told fans. No need to rush, baby J — but if the mom of two can keep sharing sweet snaps like this one, we certainly won’t be complaining.
