Looking dapper in a wide brim hat and a patterned button-down, it looks like Jamie, 51, put his troubles to the side for the night and zoned in on his new movie. The film is set to be released this Christmas and follows a young lawyer battling the legal system and standing up for his clients.

As the legal drama is set to be a hit, people are super interested in his real-life drama with Katie, 40. “Jamie and Katie have been arguing nonstop over his partying. For months he’s been promising to calm his wild ways, but nothing’s changed and she’s finally come to the conclusion that she wants to be with a guy who’s more mature and ready to settle down,” an insider told In Touch exclusively.

The insider added, “She also can’t keep an eye on him when he’s in LA and is fed up with doing the whole long-distance thing so gave him an ultimatum — either move to NY or it’s over!”

“He refuses to leave his hometown, so she called it a day,” the source added. “They’ve been on and off for a while, but Jamie always manages to talk Katie into giving him another chance. Friends are hoping that she doesn’t take him back this time around.”

Despite ending his notoriously private romance with Katie, the actor seems to have moved on quickly. The Dream Girls star was spotted leaving an L.A. nightclub with another woman on Saturday, August 17. The two were holding hands leaving fans to speculate on his relationship status with the Dawson’s Creek actress.

According to Radar, the woman that Jamie was spotted with is an up-and-coming artist named Sela Vave. Her Instagram bio states that she is a recording artist, model and actress. The brunette beauty shared video clips from the night on her Instagram Story.

Jamie shut down the dating rumors on August 21, writing “People are saying I’m dating the girl, let me just say this, that’s absolutely not true.” Although there is a lot of drama around the actor right now, he seems pretty happy.
