It looks like Javi, 26, and Lauren, 27, are on better terms today. The Teen Mom 2 star took to Instagram with side-by-side family photos on November 4, showing Lauren when she was pregnant with Eli and after his birth.

This new post on Instagram comes shortly after Javi shared the first photo of his brood in the wake of his recent cheating scandal. On November 1, he fueled rumors they had rekindled their romance.

“Happy Halloween! Hope everyone had a safe night out! ☠️ thanks @tipsyelves for the costumes,” he wrote. Javi and Lauren appeared to be in great spirits while dressed up as skeletons for the special occasion.

Cheating Scandal

Just a few months ago, the dynamic duo reportedly dealt with some turmoil at home. Lauren supposedly left his Delaware abode with their son after he was allegedly caught undressed with another woman in the house.

As far as what went down, “Javi threw a party with friends and gym members at their house,” an insider told Radar Online. “At some point, Lauren went upstairs to go to sleep.”

Tough Times

“When Lauren came back downstairs, she found Javi and a woman naked,” the source claimed. It should be noted that it’s unclear whether or not he hooked up with the woman.

After the tension escalated, someone contacted Javi’s sister, Lidia, to “come over and diffuse the situation,” but the drama didn’t end there.

The couple reportedly split and stopped following each other on Instagram after the tense dispute. However, Javi later issued a public apology, which seemed to be the catalyst that led their relationship in a better direction.

Expressing His Regrets

“Lauren, I’m sorry for my mistakes, I’m sorry I broke your heart, I’m sorry I disrespected you,” he wrote in an open letter shared to his Instagram page in September. “I’m sorry I took you for granted.”

Javi didn’t mention anything specifically about the cheating rumors, but he did own up to his past mistakes in hopes of rebuilding their connection.

“I could say sorry for a million other things but I’m sorry will never be enough,” Javi continued.

“I hurt the one person that I love the most. I will do everything in my power to become a better man and hopefully one day you can forgive me,” the reality star added.

Javi also vowed that he will no longer let any of his loved ones down. “I know, when you both are older … I will be able to tell my story and say look at me now,” he wrote about his sons.
