Roger Mathews Makes a Confession About Jenni “JWOWW” Farley’s ‘Jersey Shore’ Days

Roger Mathews is throwing Jersey Shore alum Jenni "JWOWW" Farley under the bus!

In a new Instagram photo, the NJ native made a shocking confession about his wife's time on the MTV reality series — he was never actually her "ex" like they said when he was introduced.

"Little known Jersey Shore trivia fact. I was never Jenni's ex. She just said that, but I was always her future. Seven years together this July. #WeInTheRunningForSomeSortOfRecord?" Roger captioned this image of a screenshot from the show.

We saw the couple ~rekindle~ their romance after JWOWW ended things with her boyfriend Tom Lippolis. They got married in October 2015 and have two adorable kids together — a two-year-old daughter, Meilani Alexandra, and a nine-month-old son, Greyson Valor.

"He's my best friend," she previously revealed to Entertainment Tonight. "He's the only person in this world that puts me in my place, so I actually respect him even more for that, and I love him for that because he can call me out on my B.S."

However, she did admit that there are some things — like cheating — that would instantly end their relationship.

"Thank god we have never had to deal with that. But I definitely wouldn't say it's not an option because if you are truly unhappy, you shouldn't stay in a relationship," she explained. "To me, there's no happily ever after unless you truly work for it."
