Keeping traditions alive. Jennifer Aniston explained that she has a ritual she does before big events — good and bad —with her famous friends for the past 30 years, and it’s called a “goddess circle.”

The 50-year-old said she and her friends sit cross-legged on the living room floor where they pass around a beechwood talking stick that is accessorized with feathers and charms, according to a New York Times interview that was published on Tuesday, September 10. The Friends alum revealed they circle before major life events including Jennifer’s weddings to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux in 2000 and 2015, respectively, and when her friends’ babies were born. Sadly, they also huddled up in July when Jen and Justin, 48, had to put down their dog, Dolly.

Jen also admitted that a few days after her 50th birthday, she boarded a plane for Mexico with her six gal pals, but unfortunately, a tire had gone missing and they had to make an emergency landing in Los Angeles. Thankfully, they all landed safely, and the next night, they got together. So, what were the women celebrating this time around? Well, they wanted to toast to Jen’s next endeavor — her milestone age. “It’s so weird. There’s so much doom around that number,” she told the outlet.

These days, the Hollywood A-lister has something to smile about — her new AppleTV+ series, The Morning Show, which premieres in November. The brunette beauty hasn’t been on the small screen in quite some time, but it seems like she is ready for her next act. “I’m entering into what I feel is one of the most creatively fulfilled periods of my life,” she confessed. “I’ve been doing this for 30 years, and I feel like it’s just about to really bloom.”

Even though Jen has been in the industry for quite some time, it’s apparent that she isn’t going anywhere. “It’s taken time for me to get where I am, and I put a lot of work into my craft,” she said. “I’ve failed. I’ve succeeded. I’ve overcome. I’ve, you know, I’ve stayed around. I’m still here.”
