Clapback Queen Jessa Duggar Slams Fan Who Says Her Niece Meredith’s Feet Are ‘Dirty’
She’s using her powers for good! When it comes to the TLC family, Jessa Duggar is the official queen of clapbacks. But this time when she snapped at a fan, it wasn’t just because they were snarking at her, it was to defend her little niece, Meredith. When a fan saw the Duggar daughter’s latest photo of Josh Duggar‘s daughter and her cousin, Henry, they noticed something a little funky. And, in typical Instagram troll fashion, they decided it needed to be commented on rather than just left alone.
“Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Hopefully there is none of 👆🏽this going on at your house. 😆,” Jessa wrote, showing off a picture of her younger son and Meredith fighting over a toy. In the comments, she clarified that it was actually Meredith’s and that Henry was trying to steal it, but that wasn’t what some commenters took issue with. Instead, it was the little girl’s feet. “Wash those feet, lol,” read one comment. “Wow, her feet are dirty 😮,” another wrote — and Jessa wasn’t having it.
“Mine look about the same,” Jessa wrote back. “It’s 60 degrees outside today. That’s barefoot weather. 😂🙈” But she wasn’t the only one who took issue with the comment. Plenty of others also joined in, writing, “Who cares if her feet are dirty?!? I love to see a child with dirty feet, dirty face, etc…it means they have GREAT parents that are letting them ENJOY their CHILDHOOD!” and, “That’s dirty feet? 😂 You’d about faint if you saw my kids feet after they’ve [been] outside with no shoes on.”
Of course, Meredith’s feet weren’t the only point of contentions. Others also focused on Henry’s sharing skills (or lack of them). But then again, it was Christmas, and you know what they say. “Well it is the season of giving,” one fan wrote. “So Henry is like, ‘So give your toy to me.'” We’ve all been there.
