Cute Or Nah? Jill Duggar Reveals She And Derick Dillard Sit On The Same Side At Restaurants… On Purpose
Nope, they’re not on a double date! Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard recently enjoyed a romantic dinner for two, but instead of sitting across from each other at the table — they chose to sit on the same side. When a perplexed fan asked about it, the former Counting On star revealed they love dining like that.
“Double date or is the other side of the booth empty?” one of the commenters asked under the new photo Jill posted to her Instagram page on Nov. 16. Jill, 27, replied, “It’s empty…we always like to sit on the same side of the table. If they ever seat us at one of those little tables where you have to sit across from each other then we usually ask to move.” Jill and her hubby Derick, 29, were all smiles while having sushi together, one of their favorite meals to grab when they go out. “Time with this guy is precious and my fave! Thanks babe for being my man,” Jill captioned her snap.
Jill’s outfit choice was also being complimented by fans and the mother-of-two revealed she was wearing hand-me downs from her older sister for the special occasion. “I’m totally a comfortable clothing gal and when style can fit in there too, then I try lol,” she wrote. Jill and Derick have been doing their best to account for some quality time amid his studies and she recently even sat in one of his law school classes. “Glad my favorite study buddy @jillmdillard was able to come to class yesterday,” he wrote on Sept. 12. “You’ve gotta find alone time (no kids) whenever you can!”
Only a few days ago, Jill and Derick celebrated a big milestone in their relationship. “5 years ago today I left for Nepal to meet the man of my dreams @derickdillard,” she wrote. Jill also shared a calendar which reminded fans how quickly they started courting. Now, they’re the proud parents of two kids, Samuel and Israel. It looks like these date nights are working out for them!
