Despite her own traumatic miscarriage, Joy-Anna Duggar is still “super excited” for her brothers and their wives to welcome their babies. While chatting with Us Weekly, the Counting On star revealed she was worried at first that she would struggle to be there for her family members. Instead of having to put her own feelings of loss behind her, however, she’s been able to focus on her positive emotions and support Kendra CaldwellAbbie Grace BurnettLauren Swanson and Anna Duggar as they give birth to their little ones.

“I thought it was going to be a lot harder being around [them] … because there are three sisters that are due the same time I was,” Joy, 22, admitted. “But I was praying that the Lord would help me be excited for them. And I can honestly say that … I’m super excited for them. … They have little blessings that they’re adding to their family.”

And like Lauren, 20, checks on her, she’s making sure to check on everyone else. “I try and ask them a lot how they’re doing, how they’re feeling,” she said. “This is an exciting time.” There is one thing she’s not looking forward to, though, and that’s when she actually starts to spend time with all the new little ones. “Meeting the babies, I feel like that may be hard,” Joy confessed. “I still am excited for them. But you think, ‘What would my baby look like? What would she be like?'”

Though Anna and Lauren’s due dates are fast approaching, Kendra already gave birth to her daughter with Joseph Duggar on Saturday, November 2. Though she won’t be welcoming her baby girl this year, Joy is hoping to continue growing her family one day. “We want to be wise and give my body time to heal,” she said earlier in the month, “but we are excited for the children that God’s going to give us and can’t wait.” Though she’s not sure “if four is the number,” referencing her earlier pregnancy announcement when she wrote that a “table for four sounds perfect,” she’s open to having a least a couple more kids. “I would be fine with a few more if that’s what God wants us to have,” she said.
