Kate Gosselin and Jon Gosselin’s Kids Are “Prisoners in Their Own Home” (EXCLUSIVE)

Kate Gosselin is under fire for the way she treats her eight kids — and you'll never believe what she does to them before and after visits with their father, Jon Gosselin!

In Touch can exclusively reveal that the TLC star, 41, pats down twins Maddie and Cara, 16, and sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Joel, Alexis, Leah, and Aaden, 12 — when they return home to make sure they weren't given a cell phone, an item they are strictly forbidden to possess.

“She has these insane practices and rules to ensure she has total control of everything her kids do,” an insider explains.

Unfortunately for her brood, that isn't even the craziest thing she does to them and her ex-husband, 39.

“Kate says no clothing or belongings can be brought from her house to Jon’s house, so the kids arrive for visitation [at Jon’s] in their school uniforms and change into clothes Jon has for them when they get to his house,” the insider explains. “Then they put their uniforms back on before head­ing to their mom’s house.”

The source calls Kate's kids "prisoners in their own home," as they are under constant surveillance and doing endless chores. Things are much different from what we see on their family reality series Kate Plus 8.
