Kylie Jenner Finally Breaks Her Silence 1 Month After Jordyn Woods’ Cheating Scandal
She’s finally breaking her silence. It’s been more than one month after Kylie Jenner‘s former best friend, Jordyn Woods, hooked up with her big sister Khloé Kardashian‘s ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. Since then, Kylie has been avoiding the spotlight so she wouldn’t have to comment about the family drama. But during an interview with the New York Times that was published on Saturday, March 30, the 21-year-old was faced with the question everyone has been wondering.
Just two days after news of Jordyn, 21, hooking up with Tristan, 28, broke, fans noticed that the price of Kylie Cosmetics’ Jordy Lip Kit — a raspberry red hue named after her former bestie — was slashed from $27 to $13.50. Fans took it as Kylie’s subtle way of throwing major shade at Jordyn for betraying Khloé.
But Kylie told the NYT that she didn’t know that the Jordy Lip Kit had gone on sale — and she immediately called one of her employees, who told her the shade went on sale a week before the scandal.
“That is just not my character. I would never do something like that and when I saw it, I was like, thrown back,” Kylie said. “Jordyn knows I didn’t actually put it on sale.”
Kylie’s response also seems to hint that she has kept in contact with Jordyn during the week of the scandal, but it’s safe to say that their friendship isn’t what it used to be. As In Touch previously reported, Kylie and Jordyn were so close that they even lived together, but Jordyn moved out of Kylie’s home just one day after the scandal broke.
But Kylie and Jordyn have not been spotted together since the scandal, and it’s unclear where their friendship stands now. “Kylie defended Jordyn in the beginning,” an insider previously revealed to Us Weekly. “At first the family thought Kylie would eventually take Jordyn back, but now they don’t think that she will.”
