Lamar Odom Isn’t Worried About Offending the Kardashians With His Memoir: “I’m a Big Boy” (EXCLUSIVE)
Even though Lamar Odom has promised that his highly anticipated tell-all book will explain “everything” about his wild past and be a “free-for-all,” don’t expect him to go throwing the Kardashian family under the bus. In an exclusive interview with In Touch, Khloé Kardashian‘s ex-husband revealed he has no plans to drag his former family. When asked if he’s worried that he might offend the Kardashians with his memoir, he replied, “No! I’m a big boy. Why would I be worried? I’m not going to rip them apart.”
But fans wouldn’t blame him if he did. Critics weren’t too pleased when Lamar’s recovery after his near-fatal drug overdose in October 2015 during which he suffered 12 strokes and two heart attacks was used as a storyline on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. After being in a coma for four days, the former athlete had to learn to walk and talk again. Still, the 37-year-old has no negative feelings towards the family. “Anything that’s been on the show is something I knew was going to be shown, and I was OK with it,” he said. “I knew exactly what I was getting into with them. I don’t think I’ve been exploited.”

Lamar also revealed that he’s on speaking terms with his ex-wife — the couple officially finalized their divorce in December 2016 — despite her serious relationship with athlete Tristan Thompson. “I just texted her yesterday,” he said. “I don’t think she hates me, even though she has every reason to. I definitely don’t hate her.”
But any relationship that Khloé maintains with her former flame is purely platonic, as she is “the happiest she’s ever been” with Tristan, according to Life & Style. The source revealed that the couple plans on getting engaged this year and hopes to welcome a baby as soon as possible. “Khloé is not using birth control and would be so excited if she got pregnant.”
As for Lamar, he’s been clean and sober since a 30-day rehab stint going into this year. “I feel really good,” he said. “All my doctors say I am a living miracle. I don’t know how I’ve been able to heal like this. I guess it just wasn’t my time.”
