‘Love on the Spectrum U.S.’ Cast: Who Is Still Together? Steve, Abbey, Dani and More

Steve is the oldest person featured on the show, but that didn’t stop his search for love. Early in the show, Steve explained that he was diagnosed as neurodivergent only a couple of years before filming began.

Although he did not find a partner by the end of the series, Steve hasn’t given up on his quest. Steve is still residing alone in San Francisco, California, and is continuing his search for love with the help of his support system.

“The search continues. I am putting some feelers out as well as some online chatting, although nothing serious as of yet. I am hopeful to meet someone who is meant for me,” Steve said in a May interview with Netflix.

He has also been focusing on other areas of his personal life, saying, “I have been participating in more activities in my synagogue, which has been quite rewarding for me spiritually, emotionally and socially. I have been enjoying taking drives in my car to some of my favorite places. I also have been getting together with my friends and family as COVID’s intensity subsides.”

Subodh Garg

Subodh Garg was lucky enough to find a partner during his time on the show in Rachel Osterbach. After revealing that he had never been on a date in his entire life, Subodh was set up with Rachel who was featured on A&E’s Born This Way. Subodh asked Rachel to be his girlfriend after sharing a couple of dates together. The pair beamed as they shared the news with Subodh’s family that they had officially become boyfriend and girlfriend. 

At the end of the series, Netflix confirmed that the two are still together, adding that they look forward to traveling together.

However, in October 2022, Subodh’s family confirmed that he and Rachel went their separate ways. “A lot of people have been asking about Subodh and Rachel lately,” read an Instagram statement shared by his family on behalf of Subodh. “We would like to share that Subodh and Rachel are no longer together as a couple. They are going to remain friends going forward.”

Dani Bowman

Perhaps the most eager participant on the show, Dani was determined to find love from the start. However, after having an initial passionate connection with her first date Solomon, the animator and company owner realized he didn’t check all of her boxes. Viewers watched her break things off with Solomon in an emotional phone call, and he did not take the news well.

“The search for love is still difficult,” Dani said in an interview with Netflix after filming. “I am not giving up my search to find love.”

The Southern California native went on to reveal details about what happened between her and Solomon after the show had ended, saying, “I don’t know if you were aware, but after the camera stopped rolling, that was when the real action began between me and the first date on the show.”

“We did go out for a while, but it didn’t work out. However, I did learn all about setting boundaries from the very beginning,” she added. “I did try to reach out to my second guy I dated. Again, it didn’t work out. So, yeah, I am single again and still looking for love.”

It appears Dani is still searching for Mr. Right, as she jokingly admitted in an Instagram caption of a picture of herself with a scarecrow in October 2022. “What can I say, he’s perfect! He doesn’t lie, cheat or disrespects me. Even my dog Mindy loves him,” she captioned the slideshow.

James

Although James didn’t find a romantic partner during the show, he did gain a new friend after going to the Renaissance Faire with his date Emma. Since then, the Boston native said he has been doing “very well.”

“I am finding time to interact with my friends and have fun when I am not working,” James told Netflix after filming.

“The woman whom I met through Love on the Spectrum did not feel any romantic feelings toward me, so I have continued my search for love, both on dating apps and at in-person speed-dating events. Thus far, I have not matched with any women, but I will never abandon my search, since finding love is of the greatest importance to me.

Kaelynn Partlow

Sparks flew for Kaelynn when she met Peter Cote while speed dating. After going on their first official date and agreeing to meet up again, the show’s conclusion had viewers surprised. The text on the screen read, “Kaelynn and Peter had a second date plan. He canceled on her. They haven’t seen each other again.”

Since filming, it seems Kaelynn is doing better than ever. She has amassed more than 23,000 followers on Instagram, where she shares helpful information about autism as well as updates on her work as a dog trainer. Although things fizzled out with Peter, it does not appear Kaelynn is dating anybody else.

“What’s a queen without her king? Historically speaking, more powerful,” she captioned an Instagram post on May 8, hinting at her relationship status with “#Independent.”

Abbey Romeo Lutes

In addition to successfully finding a partner during the show, Abbey went on to find success on TikTok, where she shares life updates and original music videos with her 600,000 followers. It seems she and David are going strong, with one post showing the duo singing along to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” while on a frozen yogurt date. In the video, Abbey and David sweetly hold hands as they sing the song from one of Abbey’s favorite Disney movies. If that’s not enough confirmation, the couple shared a video on May 21 in response to a comment asking if they’re still together.

“Thanks for introducing me to this handsome young man next to me,” Abbey says in the clip as she stands arm in arm with David.

As of October 2022, Abbey and David are still very much an item, as indicated by an Instagram post of them looking cozy as they posed together at the California Science Center. “Abbey and David had the best time at the science center! One of their favorite parts was the spaceship ride that felt like taking off in a rocket ship,” read the caption.
