Out of all of the couples who have appeared on TLC’s trainwreck of a reality TV series 90 Day Fiancé, Mark and Nikki Shoemaker have to be one of the most elusive ones ever. The last time fans saw Mark and Nikki on TV, they were on the Season 3 tell-all and it seemed like Mark proved fans’ suspicions that he was very controlling as a husband. It was that portrayal that made Mark angry, so much that he filed multiple lawsuits against the network.

Since fans have been begging for an update on Mark and Nikki, it would make sense that TLC would ask them to come back for the spin-off show, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? or the webseries 90 Day Fiancé: What Now? But after Mark’s most recent lawsuit got thrown out last year, according to Starcasm, it looks like their relationship with the network has been soured and they have yet to be asked back.

Unlike some of their fellow 90 Day Fiancé alums, Mark and Nikki didn’t try to extend their 15 minutes of fame as social media influencers or a YouTubers and they’re virtually impossible to find on social media. The one profile that exists for Nikki is an Instagram account that hasn’t been updated since 2013.

But 90 Day Fiancé fans on reddit still bring up the couple from time to time in threads, and according to fans who live near Mark and Nikki in Maryland last month, they are very much still together. “They are still together, someone spotted them in Walmart a couple months ago,” one reddit user wrote.

While it’s safe to say that things are still going strong between them, it doesn’t seem like that’s the case for Mark and his daughter Elise. Since Elise was only about three years older than Nikki, his marriage put a strain on their father-daughter relationship. Judging by her private Instagram account, Elise is not in contact with her dad or Nikki because there are no photos of them together on her feed.
