Markai Durham From ’16 and Pregnant’ Has Endured Major Drama Since Her Episode Aired — Find out What She’s up to Today!
Remember Markai Durham?
The 16 and Pregnant star’s Season 2 episode was notorious for drama, violence, and her bizarre need to spit into Pringles cans during her pregnancy.
The reality star and her then-boyfriend, James, welcomed their beautiful daughter, Za’Karia back in 2010. After struggling to make their relationship work, they called it quits — although briefly rekindled their romance.
Shortly after Za’Karia’s birth, Markai became pregnant again with James’ baby and documented her journey to have an abortion on MTV’s No Easy Decision.
However, in 2013, Markai made it clear to fans that she regretted her 2010 decision to terminate the pregnancy, and suggested that it had to do with the baby’s father.
She tweeted, “And get an abortion think that sh-t won’t eat your soul up I’m a prime F–KING EXAMPLE it’s not RIGHT.”
She added, “But I guess I can’t be a hypocrite, huh? Just tell you I wish I never done it wish I was strong enough to not let a man make the decision for me.”

Today, the now 25-year-old is a Dental Assistant, according to her Facebook page. There’s currently no sign of any man in her life, nor any indication of who father of her second child is.
In February, Markai hinted at her love life on Twitter and said, “Sometimes you might just have to delete his number block it delete all the text messages learn that lesson and move the F–K on.”
Ouch!
Sounds like she should lay off the men for a while — and enjoy life with her two adorable children!
