Back in season 8, Lifetime bumped their Married at First Sight cast up from three couples to four because the matchmakers couldn’t decide between their final few options. Now, as season 9 prepares to premiere on June 12, it seems like history is repeating itself. This year, the four couples who will be tying the knot the first time they meet are from Charlotte, North Carolina. Based on their wedding photos, they all seem cute AF, too. We haven’t met them yet, but we’re already rooting for them. Check out the gallery below to get to know each of the season 9 cast members.
Keith, 27, grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina with his brother and wants to have kids of his own. He has two sets of marriage role models: his parents, who have been together for almost 30 years, and his grandparents, who have been together for 55 years. As someone who doesn’t consider divorce to be an option, he’s taking a risk by joining the show, but he’s willing to work through whatever ups and downs he and his new bride have in store. He’s just hoping that Iris is the Beyoncé to his Jay Z.
