‘The O.C.’ Alum Mischa Barton Hospitalized for Mental Health Evaluation (REPORT)

The O.C. alum, 31, was reportedly taken to the hospital on Thursday at Cedars-Sinai in LA for a mental health evaluation.

According to TMZ, she rambled about her mother being a witch and her dog named Ziggy Stardust while hanging over her backyard fence in a shirt and tie. The outlet also states that she went to the hospital voluntarily.

“She was speaking incoherently but agreed to go to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance,” Sgt. Enrique Mandujan from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department told USA Today.
Mischa was also placed on psychiatric hold in 2009 for what she’s referred to as a “full-on breakdown.”
