Remy Ma Disses Nicki Minaj: Who Should Take the Title of “Queen of Rap”?
Remy Ma declared war on Nicki Minaj!
On March 2, the 36-year-old singer dropped “Another One,” a new diss track clearly aimed at her known nemesis and fellow rapper, Nicki. Days before, Remy released “ShETHER,” a seven-minute track which also attacked Nicki — Remy clearly isn’t done with the “Anaconda” singer yet.
In “Another One,” Remy refers to herself as a “savage” and questions why Nicki has not put out a response.
Remy raps, “I’m a savage, I be killin’ dead b–ches. I bet you wish that you ain’t never said sh-t. Now they so busy shootin’ videos and I’m like nah. Where the f–k is your song? I mean, come on… You know the pub want some bars, I’m Remy Ma.”
But, Remy isn’t the only singer who has a problem with Nicki. In the opening of “Another One,” another singer’s voice can be heard —Mariah Carey‘s! That’s right, the infamous American Idol feud between Mariah and Nicki was sampled for the song.
It looks like that was finally enough for Nicki to fire back because on March 10, she released three new tracks: “No Frauds,” Changed It,” and “Regret in Your Tears.” “No Frauds” features Drake and Lil Wayne — and since the release, the tracks have dominated the charts.
Fans have been quick to voice their opinions about the feud.
