A fresh start. Manager Scooter Braun is thrilled to be managing Demi Lovato. During the MOCA Benefit on Saturday, May 18, the 37-year-old revealed exclusively to In Touch that he couldn’t be more excited about their new partnership.

“Out of respect for her and this relationship we started, I’m not gonna say much. But I’m going to say I’m incredibly honored to be on this journey with her,” he said. “She’s really special and I’m going to try and treat that relationship with the same amount of love and respect that I try to do with all the people in our organization.”

On May 11, the “Sorry Not Sorry” crooner, 26, announced the exciting news on Instagram. “GUYS!!!!!!! Dreams came true today for me. I officially have a NEW MANAGER!!! And not just any new manager but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!! Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you Scooter!!! Thank you for believing in me and for being [a part] of this new journey. Let’s DO THIS!!!!!!”

Scooter echoed the same sentiment on his own social media and wrote, “Reposting this pic from @ddlovato. She is a special person and a special talent. I’m … we … are honored. Welcome to the family Demi.”

To say their collaboration is a miracle is an understatement. In July 2018, Demi was hospitalized after an alleged near-fatal drug overdose. Months later, she acknowledged that she was thankful to be alive.

“I’m so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready,” she wrote on Twitter in December 2018. “I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so f–king much, thank you.” We’re ready when you are, Demi!
