Snooki Slams Mommy-Shamers Who Criticized Her for the Way She Deals With Her Son’s Temper Tantrums
She made it very clear — this mama has no time for the haters!
Former Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi took to Instagram on Sunday, May 7 to show off her impressive weight loss in a super chic outfit from her own online boutique — but fans quickly pointed out that seemed off about the mirror shot. Her five-year-old son Lorenzo Lavalle was squirming on the floor behind her, clearly having a temper tantrum while she took a selfie.
“Sunday funday! Don't mind my tantrum kid in the back,” the 29-year-old wrote in the caption as she modeled a floral print maxi dress.

Multiple fans commented that she should try to take care of and pay attention to her kids instead of taking selfies, and another said, “Can't be sanitary for [your] boy to mop your bathroom floor with his body” — and the former Snooki & Jwoww star hit back in the comments.
“Pay attention to my kids? Excuse me, but are you in my house seeing what kind of mother I am? Go enjoy your Sunday instead of talking sh– to me on an Instagram photo,” the mom-of-two hit back.
Other fans came to her rescue in the comments, and many of them said that Snooki was actually handling her son’s tantrum in the best way possible — by completely ignoring him until he calms down.
“Real mom moment captured perfectly in this picture,” one fan wrote, and a fellow mommy commented, “Tantrums get no attention in my house either.”
But even though dealing with bad behavior comes with the territory of being a mama, it seems like Snooki wouldn’t have it any other way. Earlier this week, she posted a heartfelt tribute to her son and her two-year-old daughter Giovanna — both of whom she shares with her husband Jionni Lavalle — on their first day of school.
“I'm feeling such a range of emotions from sad to excited to feeling so proud of my nuggets,” she wrote in the caption. “They're pretty awesome human beings & bring so much joy and love into my life!”
