She’s bumping along! Sofia Richie is pregnant with her first baby with husband Elliot Grainge, and her maternity style and pregnancy photos are already out of this world.

Lionel Richie’s daughter was six months along already when she and Elliot confirmed her pregnancy during a January 2024 interview with Vogue, revealing that they are expecting a little girl. The model went to a number of lengths to keep her baby news behind closed doors, but told Vogue that she was full of “ideas” related to maternity outfits.

Sofia stepped out publicly for the first time after announcing her baby news in late January 2024, rocking a pair of overalls and a comfy shirt. Of her maternity style, she revealed that she does not want to buy “an entirely new wardrobe.”

“I’ve bought a few pairs of pants in bigger sizes, but I’m wearing my same jackets, sweats and trenches,” Sofia revealed.

Dropping Hints

Two months before confirming the news of her pregnancy, Sofia and Elliot stepped out at the Baby2Baby Gala in Los Angeles. The model wore a classic little black dress with feathered detailing, perfectly disguising her tiny bump.

While walking Los Angeles in October 2023 – about three months pregnant at the time – Sofia kept things cool, calm and collected in a simple flowing white dress and leather accessories.

Beaming

The model found out she was expecting while at Milan Fashion Week – no wonder she stepped out absolutely beaming!

“I found out very, very early,” Sofia told Vogue. “I was about four weeks pregnant. I was on a trip to Milan for fashion week and I was going to the Prada show. I was doing a really quick 24-hour turnaround and I felt terrible but I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was jet lag.”
