‘Teen Mom 2’ Alum David Eason Claims He’s ‘Single’ Amid Jenelle Evans Split Rumors

Jenelle was the first to spark split rumors when she posted two very cryptic Facebook updates — even though a rep for the 27-year-old denied that she and David are separated.

It seems like there must be something going on behind closed doors because David’s relationship status on Facebook currently says he’s “single.”

And Jenelle has continued to post cryptic messages — like this screenshot of her listening to Kesha’s song “Learn To Let Go,” which is about letting go of a painful past.

She also shared this very cryptic Facebook status with a broken heart emoji.

It’s unclear what happened between Jenelle and David that would cause them to hint at a possible split just two days after Valentine’s Day.

But insiders revealed to Radar Online that “something bad happened” between the couple on the romantic holiday.

The first sign of their possible split was when Jenelle uploaded a new Facebook profile picture with the caption: “single AF.”

Then Jenelle changed her relationship status to “separated.”

The MTV star also unfollowed David on Instagram, and he doesn’t follow her either.

Once the rumors started swirling on social media, fans started to point out that Jenelle and David did not post anything about each other on Valentine’s Day, which is strange since the couple is usually known to gush about their relationship on social media.

But this isn’t the first time the couple’s social media habits have sparked split rumors.

Back in November 2018, fans noticed a similar pattern: Jenelle and David had unfollowed each other on Instagram and unfriended each other on Facebook and removed the relationship status sections on their profiles.

But less than two weeks later, Jenelle addressed the rumors.

“LMFAO Married couples have disagreements but that doesn’t mean they are ‘splitting up’ #RUMORS,” she wrote at the time, adding an eye roll emoji.
