Leah Messer Expresses Suicidal Thoughts After She’s Served With Divorce Papers on ‘Teen Mom 2’
On last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Leah Messer hit a new low in not only her marriage to Jeremy Calvert, but also her personal life.
Days after the mom-of-three was served divorce papers while grocery shopping, she broke down venting to a friend — and even expressed suicidal thoughts.
She tells her friend that she’s “not the happy-go-lucky Leah” she was, adding that she “wants to be that person again.”
“I feel like I’ve been pushed to an edge where I could care less whether I’m here or not. And that’s not okay,” she says, fighting tears.
“I don’t care about myself, and I’ve really been thinking about going away for a while to a facility where I could get some intense therapy. I would come back and be a brand new person.”

When she shares her plan to seek treatment with Jeremy, he tells her how proud of her he is — but makes it clear his mind is made up.
“Well, even if you do get help, Leah, I’m not changing my mind about the divorce,” he tells her.
