Poor baby! Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messerhas really been going through it with her youngest daughter, Adalynn. The adorable 6-year-old has been not feeling well over the past couple of weeks, but thankfully, Addie is feeling better after her hospitalization last week. Leah, 26, took to Instagram on March 14 to reveal that little Addie, whom she shares with her ex-husband Jeremy Calvert, was in the hospital.

“Even though she’s sick she was making everyone laugh in the ER. WHAT. A. DAY. Keep our girl in your prayers!,” Leah wrote in her caption on Instagram.

At first, it was unclear why Leah had to take Addie to the hospital, but she later told Us Weekly that Addie had an infection.

Even though she wasn’t feeling well, Addie still looked like her happy, normal self.

And her daddy was right there with her too. “Hospital with this little one all day. I hope my baby girl starts feeling better,” he captioned a sweet daddy-daughter photo on Instagram.

On March 19, Leah and Addie both took to Leah’s Instagram to go live and share an update with fans.

“I’m feeling better!” Addie told her mama’s followers.

Leah also shared more details about Addie’s recovery during their Instagram Live.

“Addie never lost her spirit, she was still so funny,” Leah said. “The doctor in the ER was like, ‘Man, she has such a personality to be 6 years old, and I was like, ‘Oh, you haven’t seen nothing yet,'” Leah gushed.

“She definitely proved me right by talking and laughing and goofing off in the ER,” the mama-of-three added.

Leah also revealed that Addie had “swollen lymph nodes,” but the swelling was going away. “Now we’re just going to get more blood work,” she concluded.

But now, Addie is sick again.

In a statement to Us Weekly, Leah revealed that her daughter was diagnosed with mono.

Mono is a virus that causes symptoms like fatigue, sore throat, fever, swollen lymph nodes, swollen tonsils, headache, skin rash, and in some cases, a soft, swollen spleen, according to MayoClinic.

But thankfully, Addie is doing well and is on the mend.

“Addie never loses her amazing zest for life despite being forced to rest,” Leah’s rep told the outlet. “The great news is she’s improving daily despite the mono diagnosis.”
