‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Mackenzie McKee Kisses Estranged Husband Josh After Filing for Divorce

“Best friends forever,” Mackenzie captioned the series of photos she took with Josh during their night out.

In the first shot, Mackenzie kissed Josh on the cheek and in the second, they held hands as they cuddled up close together.

Mackenzie was visibly still wearing her wedding ring in the photos, even though she confirmed earlier this month that she had already filed for divorce from Josh.

Fans took to the comments to share their shock and their opinion of Josh and Mackenzie’s on-again, off-again marriage.

“Just looks like you’re drunk in a bar and going back to what you know. Under the influence is never the right time to make a decision. I hope you’re REALLY thinking this through. You’re such a strong woman, you deserve an equally strong and supportive partner. Don’t cut yourself short,” one fan commented.

Mackenzie clapped back. “Neither of us touched alcohol,” she wrote.

“Typical teen parents. It’s a miracle they made it this far. In my opinion, they have no idea how to make a relationship work because this is the only one they have had. I know I was married with a husband and child at 17. What I learned we were kids with a child. We weren’t meant to be but we weren’t meant to be good friends for our now 17-year-old son. Stop trying to force a marriage that will never work. You can’t marry as kids and expect it to work,” another fan wrote.

Mackenzie responded with three laughing with tears emojis.

“Once a cheater always a cheater. How do I know? Because I’m married to one and I personally don’t know you as you don’t know me but from what I see from you on social media you deserve better. I’m sorry to be negative it’s just true hun,” another fan commented.

“So I myself will always be a cheater?” Mackenzie asked the fan.

During an appearance on Couples Court With the Cutlers, Mackenzie revealed she and Josh had both strayed from each other during their relationship. “I met my boyfriend when we were 15 and 16 and we were babies thinking we knew what love was when we had no clue. We got pregnant really quick and had our son and within a year, we had both cheated on each other,” she said.

But it seems like they still struggled with trust issues in their relationship, which played out last season of Teen Mom OG.

In one scene, Mackenzie and Josh had a tense conversation after she learned he went to a bar while away on a rodeo work trip even though he lied and told her he didn’t.

Shortly after that episode aired, Mackenzie announced their split on social media. “However I would like to say, that due to stress, me needing to stay focused, the media, etc. I am deciding my marriage needs a break. My heart breaks for my kids. But as of right now, this is what’s best. Thank you,” she wrote on Twitter in August.
