‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Ryan Edwards Reportedly Leaves Rehab, Wife Mackenzie Gives Him An Ultimatum
More drama for the Teen Mom OG couple! Ryan Edwards is home after he reportedly checked out of a 90-day rehab program, but it doesn’t sound like things are quite back to normal yet with his wife, Mackenzie Edwards. If the 30-year-old doesn’t get his act together, he could allegedly be kicked to the curb for good.
A source told Radar, “If he relapses again, she’s going to file for divorce. She’s serious. She doesn’t want to continue to be with someone who doesn’t help himself.”
Poor Mackenzie reportedly couldn’t even spend time with her family over the holidays because she had to get Ryan from the rehab facility. The source continued, “She left early in the morning on Thanksgiving and missed dinner with her family. She flew with the baby to get Ryan. They’re back home now.”
The couple is currently living in her mother and father’s basement right now, according to the insider, because Mackenzie wants to wait until they find a more permanent home.
Since the reality star was in rehab, he missed the birth of his son, Jagger, last month. Luckily, Mackenzie supported him every step of the way. On the show, she said, “If I did not love Ryan, I would call him the most selfish a—hole ever for missing this, but this is a drop in this baby’s life, and if he’s gonna miss him being born and be healthy forever, I mean, what more could I ask for?”
Ryan’s parents even expressed how concerned they were for their son. His mother said, “I mean you worry every day. You don’t know if there’s gonna be a trigger.”
Mackenzie, 21, even took to Instagram in October to update fans on her husband’s recovery. She commented, “he is doing SO good. Proud of him!”
This isn’t Ryan’s first time in rehab either. He went to rehab in March 2017 after his wedding, where he was caught falling asleep while driving and slurring his words. He also left that rehab facility nine days ahead of when he was supposed to.
Hopefully this stint in rehab actually sticks because Ryan, your kids and wife need you!
