David Eason Is Now Also In Trouble With His Local PD After Illegally Towing A Car
It seems that former Teen Mom 2 star David Eason just can’t stay out of trouble. Days after his Dec. 14 alleged visit from the Secret Service, the controversial reality star is now in trouble with his local police. The scandal all started when the MTV star posted a video of himself illegally towing someone else’s truck — the whole thing seemingly filmed by his wife, Jenelle Evans, of course — and it wasn’t long before the cops were involved. Check out the gallery to see what David did — and how the Wilmington Police Department responded.

David Eason posted the video on his new YouTube channel.
Not only that, he also advertised on Facebook that he had filmed himself illegally towing a truck that he claimed had parked too close to his boat, blocking him into a parking space. “Still locked out of Instagram, so YouTube it is!” he wrote, seemingly bragging about how his concerning social media behavior got him suspended from the site.

In the video, you can see him first hooking up his truck to one that was parked behind him.
“Learn the right way to deal will a–holes who think it’s cool to block you in a parking space,” he wrote in the video description. “Good thing my trailer has a folded tongue that allowed me to get my truck out so I can tow him out of the way, in order to move my boat.”

But then Jenelle, behind the camera, showed the front of the truck.
It’s clear to anyone who watches the video that David’s truck is actually the one crossing over the line into another parking spot, and that the truck is parked in the space allowed.

However, they were quick to point out that the meter was also out.
Good samaritans might drop another quarter or two in for a stranger, but not this couple. Then again, you know how the old saying goes: When the meter turns red, tow that car instead! Right?

A moment later, David starts to tow the truck out of its space.
At first, the wheels start to shift but the truck stays where it is. “I don’t know if it’s gonna go,” Jenelle tells her husband.

Then they get things going.
“I gotta drag it f–king sideways,” David can heard explaining before he gives it another shot.

The tires screech as David tows the truck out of its spot — and onto the curb.
And you can see just how far they dragged it — and how much space there now is between the back of the boat and the truck that had been parked behind it. “Pull that motherf–ker out of the way,” Jenelle said, laughing.

One fan had enough of the couple’s criminal antics, though.
They took the video to Twitter to try and get attention from the local news.

Another fan got the local police involved.
On Twitter, the Wilmington Police confirmed that they were investigating the incident.

We completely understand your concern and appreciate you sharing it with us! The past incidents have occurred outside of our jurisdiction, but we will continue to thoroughly investigate when it is within our city limits.

And they seemed to hint that this was far from the first time they’d heard about the couple.
“The past incidents have occurred outside of our jurisdiction,” they explained, “but we will continue to thoroughly investigate when it is within our city limits.”

Of course, David was still just laughing about the whole thing in the YouTube comments.
He seemed to find nothing but humor in the whole situation, writing that the fact that the truck was parked legally and he could likely still have gotten out of his space was “what makes it so funny!” He seemed to have no issue with the fact that there would likely be legal repercussions, continuing, “He learned his lesson and that’s all that matters!” The lesson, we assume, is to live as far away from David Eason as you can.

I have just wrapped up an interview with Terry Hill, the man whose truck was towed by Eason. Terry confirmed it was his truck in the video. He had to replace his transmission after this. The incident happened June 13. Our interview airs tonight on @wectnews
— Ben Smart (@BenSmartJourno) December 20, 2018
There have been a few updates, though.
A local reporter, Ben Smart from WECT, spoke to Terry Hill, the man who owned the truck David towed. According to him, the incident actually took place back in June, not yesterday on Jenelle’s birthday. Additionally, the damage the former Teen Mom star had done meant that he had to replace his transmission.

Terry also had a handicap sign on his truck. He has knee problems. People with handicap signs can park for free in downtown Wilmington without paying anything in the meter. @wectnews
— Ben Smart (@BenSmartJourno) December 20, 2018
The reporter also explained that Terry had a handicap placard.
Because of that, he didn’t need to pay for a meter — though, again, an expired meter doesn’t give you the right to tow a car out of that spot anyway.

WECT
The reporter did a whole on camera interview with Terry Hill where he explained what had happened.
“I pulled up behind [David’s boat] and I made sure I was legal in my parking space, between the white lines,” he says. After the MTV star towed his truck, he called the police — but that lead to an altercation of its own. “He said, ‘I’m going to whoop your butt.'”

WECT
David has his own story.
“I don’t have time to meet with you, but this was my friend’s truck,” David told the news station over email. “I was just messing with him one day. Don’t get into my personal business, dude. I’m just trying to get followers on YouTube, geesh!”

But it’s not a story he’s sticking to.
“I wasn’t blocked in?? Ok, so what’s in front of my boat, ya dummies?” he wrote on Facebook, doubling down on claims that he was justified in towing someone’s truck out of a parking space. “Yea, I just go around doing s–t for no reason. And if he was handicapped, he shouldn’t be on a construction site…”

Jenelle got involved in a now-deleted Facebook post, too.
“I don’t want to talk about this, but you made me,” she wrote on the social media site, seeming to accuse the truck owner of lying about being handicapped because he was “walking completely normal” and “didn’t mention he was handicapped until six months later when he makes it ‘popular on the news.'” She continues to insist that Terry’s truck wasn’t damaged and that he’s instead trying to extort the family for a new truck.
“David posted this to introduce his YouTube page and you guys can’t stand it so you try everything to get my husband in trouble,” she insisted, calling WECT “fake news.”

At the end of the day, the video speaks for itself.
We’ll be over here waiting to see how the whole thing plays out — and whether David is still more than ready to threaten another firefight if police come to the land to question him.
