She’s done with the trolls! Kailyn Lowry shut down access to her Twitter account after receiving more hate than she could take. The Teen Mom 2 star has always gotten plenty of unsolicited criticism, but after fans called her out for eating fish while pregnant, she needed to take a step back. On February 25, she took to Twitter to reveal that the trolling had reached a fever pitch. “The hate I get from followers and viewers is on another f–king level,” she told fans.

Pushing Back
Though she gets she’s not going to be everyone’s favorite reality star, she’d settle for just not having to hear about it every time someone is annoyed by her.

Private Thoughts
“I don’t care why [people don’t like me],” she told one Twitter user. She explained that, just because there is a reason for it, “that doesn’t mean [people should] tag [her] in every single opinion and hate comment.”
She’s made a point of calling the haters out. When one fan wrote that they “just can’t” deal with the news that Kail is expecting again, she responded, “Well, good thing you don’t have to.”

Hitting Back
Another tweet was seemingly directed at everyone who had something to say: “When you’re done talking s—t about me — pray for me to be as perfect as you are.”

Staying Quiet
A third took aim at someone who was annoyed by her regular medical updates. “Not sure if you know this, but you can go to your appointments without telling the world,” a fan wrote. “You can also go about your life ignoring my tweets,” Kail responded.

Mom-Shaming
On March 2, the hate took on a new tone when it targeted the soon-to-be mom of four for eating fish while she is expecting. “I was always told you can’t eat seafood while pregnant,” one fan wrote with a thinking emoji.

Call Out
“Isn’t fish bad for pregnancy because of the mercury?” chimed in another. “Or is that old news …”

New Information
Though other fans and followers explained that salmon and trout are actually low in mercury — and those fishes, in particular, are healthy to eat during pregnancy — the mom didn’t waste her time.

Shutting Down
Instead of publicly clapping back, the mom decided she’d had enough. Within a few days, she’d changed her Twitter settings so that her account was private.
