‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Claims She’d Be OK Seeing Her Husband Joe ‘Happy With Another Woman’
She’s just taking every day as it comes. Teresa Giudice from Real Housewives of New Jersey spoke about what it’s been like being apart from her husband, Joe Giudice, as he awaits the results of his deportation case over in Italy and said that if they eventually moved on with other people, she’d be OK with it.
Teresa, 47, and their daughters visited Italy in early November to see Joe, also 47, and the Real Housewives mom opened up on Good Morning America on November 14 about the couple’s future together. “You’d be OK seeing him happy with another woman?” Paula Faris asked Teresa. “Of course. If that’s the path we choose, yes,” the reality star replied.
Paula continued, “Do you think he would be happy seeing you with another man?” Teresa responded, “We only really want the best for each other. We really do.”
Joe has been in ICE custody since his release from federal prison in March after serving a 41-month sentence for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. Back in October 2018, he was given a deportation ruling but has been waiting for the final verdict in Italy rather than behind bars here in the United States. Obviously, that sort of prolonged separation can really make an impact on any marriage.
Paula asked if Teresa still feels anything for her husband after all their turmoil, and Teresa admitted, “There’s always gonna be a place in my heart for Joe. I’m always gonna love him, no matter what.” She said she has been completely faithful to her husband but isn’t so sure he has done the same for her.
“Are you planning on filing for divorce?” Paula asked the reality TV personality point-blank. “Not any time … no,” Teresa answered, but when Paula asked, “Do you see a future with him?” the mother of four responded, “I don’t know.” Paula then questioned her, “Do you think that you could find happiness and love again with Joe?” and Teresa replied, “To be determined.”
Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother, told In Touch exclusively in May about how she has been coping with the situation, “It’s hard. She’s a mess. She’s raising her four daughters by herself, so she has to be strong. She tries to keep busy.” Hopefully, whatever outcome the couple reaches after all of this is one they can both live happily with — even if it means they don’t end up together in the end.
