Khloé Discovers Lamar’s Rap

Last December, a video surfaced of Lamar Odom, seemingly in an intoxicated stupor, rapping about cheating on his wife, Khloé.

When it was released, the world couldn’t fathom how the 29-year-old was reacting to the horrifying and heartbreaking video.

March 9’s episode shed some light on her reaction—it destroyed her.

When it was released, Khloé was overseas with her BFF Malika Haqq, who calls Kim Kardashian.

“Emotionally, it’s really getting to her,” Malika told Kim. “I just think it’s a slap in her face.”

At this point, Khloé admitted it had been a while since she was in regular contact with her husband.

Scott Mourns His Mom

In November, Scott Disick’s mother, Bonnie, passed away. In an effort to make Scott feel better, and to help him get in touch with his emotions, Kourtney takes him to Miraval, a spa and resort in Arizona.

“I have been through a lot to say the least, and I would like to get my minds off things and reboot and restart my life a little,” he says of the trip.

Unfortunately, Kourt’s plan to get her man to open up with his feelings—and stop relying on humor as a means of coping—doesn’t exactly go as planned.

“I wish that I could believe in something bigger than myself. This is the first time in my life that I have been going through something as hard as I have been going through,” he explains. “I don’t really know exactly where to turn because I don’t have a huge belief behind me. I worry too much about materialistic items and things that won’t buy my happiness, but I feel that if I have them it will give met he relief that I wish I would have.”

Seeing Scott—who proudly touts his designer labels and dons the persona “Lord Disick”—be so candid about his possessions is as upsetting as it is refreshing.

Kim Stages An Intervention

Family first is a mantra that has ruled the Kardashian-Jenner household for as long as we’ve kept up with the Kardashians. And last night’s episode was no exception.

It was revealed that Kim, Kourtney and Malika teamed up to stage an intervention to urge Khloé to call it quits with Lamar—and the rap video was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

“It’s too far gone,” Kim tells Malika once she’s informed of the “highly disrespectful video” that has surfaced. “We all need to come together and support her and get her to realize she will never win this battle. At some point, she needs to let go.”

During the intervention, Kourtney tells Khloé it’s “not fair” she has to go through the marriage alone. And Kim reminds her that she’s already put in so much effort—to no avail.

“We are all sad, we all love Lamar so much, but I hate—as your sister—seeing you stuck in this place not making a decision when nothing is changing,” Kim tells her younger sister. “I just don’t want you to put your life on hold when you have already for so long. You have done every last thing that a person can do.”

North West’s mom adds, “You are the strongest person I know… you made these vows and you want to be true. He’s not trying, he’s choosing this other life over the life you have given him. He’s going to wake up with himself and realize that he gave up everything.”

Rob’s Weighty Discovery

Rob Kardashian returns to KUWTK to attend a doctor’s appointment at his mom, Kris Jenner’s request.

She’s concerned about her son, who has reached his heaviest weight, and wants him to get his blood drawn to check his thyroid.

While his thyroid was fine, the blood work did come with some troubling news for the 26-year-old.

“I never thought that Rob, my athlete, may be in trouble physically,” Kris vents during the episode. “Literally right before my very eyes things started to turn and go wrong… if he doesn’t change his lifestyle right away he will end up diabetic and his organs will shut down. He has to start exercising and eating right or he will be one sick boy, he’s in trouble.”

Unsurprisingly, this news is just as difficult for Rob to digest.

“It’s a shock to me. I was at my best health at 26 and now I have numbers that are freaking my whole family out,” he says. “My dad passed away super early, so my sisters could never handle that again with me. That’s what everybody is super concerned about.”

Rob’s emotions only seem to escalate, as he removes his tattoos and stretch marks and cries he “doesn’t want to be filmed without [his shirt].”

At the end of the episode, Rob can be seen making progress by meeting with a nutrionist and working out with personal trainer to the stars, Gunnar Peterson.

Khloé Files For Divorce

Finally, Khloé decides it’s time to officially end things, and files for divorce from Lamar.

During the intervention, Kim reminds Khloé that there is no point in attempting couples therapy if only one half of the couple makes an effort to show up—but the recently single star struggles to come to terms with failing marriage.

But when she does finally file, she expresses how hard it was for her.

“It sucks, I have so much anxiety,” she says. “I definitely feel guilty.”

Kim tells her younger sister that she felt the same way, but it’s Kris who is ultimately able to express how everyone feels about her daughter’s “heartbreak” and what filing means for the former couple.

“Khloé has really been put through hell… It’s hard for all of us because we were all in love with Lamar,” Kris tells the camera. “At this moment, we want to pray for his happiness—we love him very much and wish him the best—but Khloé needs to get happy.”
