We already knew that some major drama went down at the Teen Mom 2 reunion after it filmed in April. After the first half aired on Monday, May 20, we finally got to see some of it for our own eyes. When Jenelle Evans took the stage to talk about her storyline — and her off-screen drama with Teen Mom OG star Amber Portwood — things didn’t exactly go as planned. After host Nessa Diab confronted the North Carolina mom about what she called “hypocritical” behavior, the whole show pretty much fell apart. When Jenelle stormed off the stage, it almost seemed like she might be done forever. But what exactly went down? Get the details on Jenelle and Nessa’s confrontation in the gallery below.
They started with Jenelle’s storyline this season.
After reviewing clips from all of the episodes we’ve seen, they began by addressing the Amber drama. Back in January, the two Teen Mom stars got in a fight after Amber called out Jenelle’s husband, David Eason.

Amber didn’t hold back.
“I swear I can’t say names because that’s just me, and I don’t want to disrespect anyone,” Amber wrote on Twitter, allegedly talking about David. “There’s a certain ‘man’ that needs a couple interventions from some good friends lol. You disgusting clown. I can’t say anymore but I’m so heated. I’ll give you attention. #tryme #Clown”

She went even further.
“You know who you are and you will respond. Or your girl,” Amber wrote. “But family, no matter if we hated each other now or in the past, never deserves abuse.” After Jenelle’s 911 call in October, fans didn’t take long to put the pieces together.

From there, the feud ignited.
“I can say a lot of things about you Amber,” Jenelle shot back on Instagram Live. “I can say whatever the f–k I want to say about you, but I don’t. You’re over here making fun of my husband, calling him a clown and s–t.”

Jenelle defended her man.
“My husband is a welder and carpenter,” she said. “He has a scuba diving business. He risks his life to go clean boats under water, but yeah he’s such a bad person.” She also called out Amber and her husband, saying, “We don’t talk about how your husband is the one touching your child, but not you in your episodes.”

That’s when Amber fired back.
“Who the f–k was the pilot of this f–king show?! I was, bitch,” the Teen Mom OG star said on Instagram Live. “Jenelle, you say anything about me again, I’ll bust your f–king ass. Just like I was going to do every other f–king time.”

Amber called Jenelle a “scared ass bitch.”
Eventually, though, both moved on — but it seemed there were still some issues Jenelle wanted to address. When her segment on the reunion opened with that context, she was all ready to spill about her Amber animosity.

But the host had other ideas.
When Nessa introduced the segment, it wasn’t to actually talk about Amber. “Jenelle, I wanted to talk to you about that clip really quick, because you were very upset that Amber addressed her concerns about you on social media instead of contacting you privately, correct? … It was hurtful to you, right?” the host said.

Jenelle started to explain.
“Yeah, well first she — before she went on Live, she was approached by Radar Online, and they said, ‘How do you feel about Jenelle being with David?’ And she’s like, ‘I feel like she should be out of the abusive relationship that she’s in,'” Jenelle said. She was hurt by the fact that she thought she, Amber and David all got along, only for Amber to publicly bash the former Teen Mom father.

That’s when Nessa got to her real point.
“I think that’s really interesting because you did exactly that to me,” she said. “You posted hateful comments on social media about my family, about my man, Colin Kaepernick. You knew that.” She called Jenelle’s behavior “very hypocritical.”

She pulled up Jenelle comments.
In a Facebook post allegedly shared by Jenelle and reposted by an Instagram account called “Teen Mom Mama Drama,” Nessa pointed out that Jenelle had called her boyfriend “the most disrespected guy in the NFL.”

Jenelle denied writing the comments.
But Nessa still wanted to talk about them. “I would have appreciated if you had contacted me,” she said. “I would have been more than happy, Jenelle, to have a healthy conversation privately.” But Jenelle was “done” — and she started walking off stage.

She didn’t want to hear it.
“I’m done with this bulls–t. This is exactly why I didn’t f–king come here. This is why,” Jenelle said as she started to walk away. She accused Nessa of using Jenelle’s show to try and “bring up [her] issues” and said, “I’m not doing this. You got your show.”

Jenelle stormed out.
“I have too much going on right now to f–king deal with this s–t. F–k everyone, get me outta here,” she said as she walked out of the studio. “This is exactly why you guys wanted me. F–k all of you. F–k this f–king show. I’m f–king done.”

Now we know why Jenelle was so upset in April.
After filming the reunion, she took to social media to accuse the show and crew of betraying her. “After this stressful reunion, I’ve been put through the ringer. To trust an entire group of people for years then they turn their back on you and treat you like a puppet is beyond words,” she wrote on Instagram.

She credited her family with helping her handle it.
“Family is everything I need to make it through my hard times and I am truly #blessed for what I have today,” she continued. “Please don’t ever let anyone bring you down and be strong in whatever you do.”

She had love for mom Barbara specifically.
“[I was] super happy my mom was there by my side to defend everything,” she said. And it seems like, in part two of the reunion, we’ll see them sitting on the couch together as they continue the segment.

Jenelle will be back.
As the first half of the show ended, Dr. Drew walked off stage to see if he could talk Jenelle into returning to her segment — and it seems like he may have been successful based on the preview for the second half of the show. Whether or not Jenelle is willing to own up to anything, though, remains to be seen.
