Looking fabulous! Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell just enjoyed a trip to the salon and unveiled her stunning new hair makeover in before and after photos. The MTV alum took to Instagram to show off her freshly colored locks on April 5, revealing that she also opted for extensions. Catelynn, who recently welcomed a baby girl with her husband, Tyler Baltierra, was overjoyed at the end results and she appears more confident than ever. Scroll through the gallery for details!

Catelynn Shows Off Hair Makeover After Welcoming Baby Vaeda

Catelynn, 27, ditched her signature dark to light ombré and showed off her new look! “HUGE thank you to @stephanie.atmospherehairstudio in Novi Michigan,” she captioned the snaps.

New ‘Do

“She absolutely KILLED these NBR extensions on me and the color is to die for,” the MTV alum added. In the after photo, Catelynn revealed her perfectly blended new hue.

The Process

The reality star’s hairstylist gave more insight as to how they pulled off the stunning transformation. “This process involved a 3 hour color correction, a good 3.5 inch haircut and 2 rows of natural beaded row extensions to give her some extra length,” Stephanie wrote.

Showing Love

“It was a long process, but it was such a joy to have her in the salon,” Catelynn’s stylist added. “She is just the sweetest person with the most adorable babies.”

Baby Bliss

Tyler and Catelynn welcomed their third daughter, Vaeda Luma, on February 23. Their bundle of joy weighed in at 6 lbs. and 4 oz.

Proud Parents

Catelynn and Tyler also share a daughter together named Novalee. The couple made the difficult decision to place the first child they welcomed when they were young — Carly — for adoption back in 2009, but they are both still actively in her life to this day.

Relaxing to the Max

“[Vaeda] is such a good baby — very chill and easy going … so far,” Catelynn told UsWeekly in an update, revealing that Novalee “loves being a big sister.”

Switching It Up

The lovebirds had originally planned to name their bundle of joy Tezlee. However, Catelynn and Tyler ended up changing their minds at the last second.

Inspiration Revealed

“Every time someone would say Tezlee, we would cringe! It just wasn’t sitting with us like it did at first,” she told the outlet. “Tyler told me about the name Vaeda and I fell in love with it! It’s from the movie My Girl, which is a movie that Tyler showed me years ago.”

Sweet Crib

Tyler took to Instagram on March 7 to reveal the meaning behind his baby girl’s unique middle name. “Guess whose room is almost done!?” the proud dad, 27, captioned a photo of Vaeda’s nursery.

One fan asked, “Luma? Like sunset? Or did you go with it for another meaning?” Tyler then congratulated the commenter writing, “You’re legit the first person to figure it out! Luma = sunset.”

Tyler recently posted a heartfelt message revealing how blessed he feels to have a beautiful brood. “This is my inspiration for everything!” he wrote on March 6.
