Which ‘Ex on the Beach’ Couples Are Still Together?

Exes living in one house … what could go wrong? Ex on the Beach premiered in April 2018 on MTV after the series saw success in the U.K. beginning four years prior.

Originally hosted by Romeo Miller, the reality series features single cast members who are surprised by their exes while staying together. Throughout each season, new stars arrive and test the relationships that are forming.

Season 1 kicked off in Hawaii and brought fan-favorite couple Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge together. Season 2 and 3 were filmed in Malibu, California, and reunited exes Janelle Shanks and Darian Vandermark in addition to new pairings, including Angela Babicz and Nelson Thomas.

The fourth season, called Ex on the Beach: Peak of Love, featured British reality stars, including Callum Izzard and Georgia Steel as well as American stars from The Bachelorette and The Real World: Portland.

Meanwhile, season 5 – which is called Ex on the Beach Couples and is hosted by Kamie Crawford – follows six couples that are ready to settle down and get engaged. However, each relationship is being tested by one of the partner’s exes.

The MTV show doesn’t have the greatest track record when it comes to relationship longevity. Original duo Cory and Taylor, however, seem to have overcome the odds, welcoming their first child in April 2020.

Following their daughter Mila’s arrival, some fans speculated that the pair had called it quits, but Cory shut down those rumors in November 2020.

“And … We’re back, yes, EVERYBODY SHE’S STILL MINE,” he commented on one of Taylor’s photos of their family, which includes Cory’s older daughter, Ryder, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Cheyenne Floyd.

Going on TV, however, wasn’t the best idea for Janelle and Darian, who were a couple for three years before breaking up and reconnecting on the show. Before the season 2 reunion special, Janelle confirmed her relationship status while praising Darian for the good times in their romance.

In January 2023, it was announced that Kamie Crawford was returning to host season 6 of the series, set to make its debut on MTV on February 9, 2023, at 9 pm E.T.

Cory Wharton and Taylor Selfridge

The couple met in November 2017 while filming the MTV series, which aired in April 2018. Despite having some drama on screen with their exes during season 1, the pair continued to date after filming wrapped. After Cory learned he is the father of Ryder, whom he shares with his ex Cheyenne Floyd, six months after she was born in April 2017, the duo weathered the storm. Cory and Taylor welcomed their first child, daughter Mila, in April 2020, and their second daughter, Maya, in June 2022.

Shortly after their daughter Maya’s birth, the couple shared that the infant was born with a rare heart condition.

“Tricuspid atresia is a form [of] congenital heart disease,” he explained via Instagram at the time. “It happens when the heart’s tricuspid valve does not develop. This valve plays a part in the heart’s essential function, which is to pump blood between the lungs and body.”

The infant had to go undergo open heart surgery days after birth and in January 2023, Taylor revealed Maya was having her second open heart surgery.

After two weeks, the MTV star revealed they got the “good news” that Maya was released from the hospital.

The couple is still going strong as of February 2023 and the former reality TV personalities often share family updates via their respective social media accounts.

Angela Babicz and Nelson Thomas

The season 2 couple had a rough go on the MTV show, though tried to make their romance work when filming ended. Angela posted about having a “man that surprises you with a birthday cake that matches your Insta feed” as she celebrated her birthday in October 2019, tagging Nelson at the time. However, the pair have since called it quits in March 2020.

Kenya Scott and Tevin Grant

Kenya and Tevin met on season 7 of Are You the One?, with Kenya saying during the reunion special in 2018, “We will always love each other, and he’s my best friend. The only thing is the distance. We have big goals in life, and we’re going to focus on that. But he’s my favorite person.” The pair rekindled their romance on season 3 of Ex on the Beach. By the October 2019 reunion, the couple had again broken up.

Lexi Kaplan and Max-Davis Kurtzman

Exes Lexi and Max reconnected on season 3 of the MTV series and finished the season as a couple. They revealed during the October 2019 reunion special that they were going “strong” after opposition from Lexi’s twin sister, Allie, all season. The pair seemingly split in 2020, with neither of them appearing on each other’s social media accounts.
