The Teen Mom OG squad officially has a new member! Bristol Palin recently announced that she was quitting the hit reality show after only one season — and now it’s been confirmed that a fellow MTV star will be joining the cast. Fans can look forward to seeing none other than Cory Wharton’s girlfriend, Taylor Selfridge, on the upcoming season, as the reality star just revealed their relationship will be documented on future episodes. Cory, 28, and his old flame-turned-new flame Taylor, 24, previously met on season 1 of Ex on the Beach and dated briefly after the show. The pair confirmed they were back together via social media in February 2019.

Luckily for fans, Cory and Taylor’s blossoming romance will be documented on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG, the couple confirmed to UsWeekly during a new interview.

Cory joined the cast of the hit MTV show last season with Cheyenne Floyd. The dynamic duo shares a precious daughter together, two-year-old Ryder.

Even though he is in a new relationship, Cory recently confirmed that he and Cheyenne always put their baby girl first and make sure to coparent to the best of their abilities.

“We both understand that there has to be mutual respect for each other and her and I are cordial,” Taylor said about Cheyenne. She said that all in all, they are on good terms.

Taylor added, “I met Cheyenne over a year ago so it wasn’t new to me to see her. Of course it’s somewhat awkward but her and I have talked, and there’s no drama between us.”

“I know people want there to be drama in the situation we’re in, but there’s just not any and no one wants there to be problems,” the model told Us about how she deals with the haters. “I’m just enjoying my relationship I’m blessed to have with Cory and Ryder.”

Cory and Cheyenne did recently get together to celebrate their daughter’s birthday and it looked like they had an absolute ball. The TMOG dad reportedly even treated his baby girl to a mini pink Jeep!

Meanwhile, Cory and Taylor haven’t been shy about their feelings for each other. The two recently documented their romantic getaway to Cancun on February 18.

While this is the start to an exciting journey for Cory and Taylor on TMOG, it marks the end for another MTV alum. Bristol announced that she was quitting the gig in a statement via Instagram.

“Teen Mom OG wasn’t a fit for me, it took away my peace … and honestly, my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford,” Bristol wrote in her message on April 1.

“$ doesn’t impress me, I don’t entertain BS, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction,” she continued. “I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors.”
