Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler are bringing awareness to multiple sclerosis (MS) with their podcast, “MeSsy.” Both women were diagnosed with the debilitating illness and will be living with it for the rest of their lives.

Sadly, they are not the only young celebrities who are battling MS.

Christina Applegate

In August 2021, Christina Applegate confirmed her MS diagnosis. She was 50 years old at the time.

While she admitted in 2023 that she will likely never act again because of the disease, she said she plans to focus on her podcast and voiceover work to continue her career in the entertainment industry.

Jamie-Lynn Sigler

The actress was diagnosed with MS at age 20 when she was starring on The Sopranos. She’s now cohosting the new “MeSsy” podcast with Christina.

Jack Osbourne

Jack — the son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who has Parkinson’s disease, and talk show host Sharon Osbourne, a cancer survivor — was diagnosed with MS at the age of 26.

In 2022, the Cruel Intentions and Legally Blonde star — who discovered in 2018 she had MS — competed on Dancing With the Stars and released a memoir, Mean Baby. She was in her late 40s when she got her diagnosis.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer and WandaVision actress has said she hid her MS diagnosis, which came in 2010, for 12 years for fear of losing roles.
