Kelly Osbourne Defends Kathy Griffin Amid Donald Trump Controversy (EXCLUSIVE)
One person who you will not hear bash Kathy Griffin over THAT Donald Trump photo — is her former [Fashion Police](https://www.eonline.com/shows/fashionpolice)_ co-star Kelly Osbourne!
In an exclusive interview with In Touch, the 32-year-old defended Kathy, 56, amid all the backlash she has received over the last few days.
"Everyone makes mistakes," she said at the Daytime Divas red carpet event.
Kathy came under fire after posing for Tyler Shields while holding a replica of Donald Trump's head, bloody and decapitated. President Trump called the image "sick," while his son, Donald Trump, Jr. said it was "disgusting but not surprising."

“I am sorry. I went too far. I was wrong,” she wrote alongside this apologetic video.
This is not the first time Kelly defended the comic in the middle of a controversy. When Kathy decided to leave the E! talk show back in 2015, shortly after Kelly's departure, she tweeted that she was "proud" of the decision.
I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always! pic.twitter.com/0P4yWecUA2

"I could not be more proud of you @kathygriffin you have my love and support always!" she wrote alongside this cheeky snap.
This came on the heels of host Giuliana Rancic suggesting Zendaya spelled like “patchouli oil” or "weed" when she showed up at the Oscars red carpet that year rocking her dreadlocks.

"I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show and now it's time to move on. When I chose to step into the shoes of my beloved Joan Rivers…I was thrilled to continue her legacy as a woman being brash and eccentric on television," Kathy said at the time.
"My brand of humor, while unrepentant and unafraid, is all about CONTEXT," she continued. "Listen, I am no saint…But I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference. I want to help women, gay kids, people of color and anyone who feels underrepresented to have a voice and a LAUGH!"
It sounds like she'll always have Kelly in her corner!
